Halloween is right around the corner, and a new year, another costume!  What’s your child going to be this year for Halloween?  We’ve started off the discussion by asking our Jersey Mom Blog writers about what their children are donning, and here is what they had to say…

M.B. Sanok:

“Last Halloween, my daughter told me she wanted to be Belle from ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ I figured she would forget, but she didn’t, and we had a hard time finding her costume! My mother-in-law found it, so we were saved.

Searching in all the local Goodwill shops for 80s style clothing for a party, we found a Darth Vader costume, brand-new, originally from Target with the tags and plastic intact, and half the price, for our son. Currently, he’s obsessed with the movie. We’re hoping he doesn’t throttle anyone with the light saber.”

Meghan:

“My little guy is going as Mittens, the cat from Bolt.  He is steadfast in it, and we got his costume this past week.  His father is less than thrilled and keeps saying, ‘That’s a girl’s costume.’  I tell him, ‘He’s 4. He doesn’t realize that, leave him alone!’ [Read more...]
