Liberty Science Center ALWAYS makes learning fun for kids of every age, and adults too! JerseyMomsMEDIA was invited back to LSC to experience their latest exhibit, a live planetarium show at the new Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium and LSC Giant Dome Theater – the largest and most technologically advanced planetarium in the western hemisphere. How lucky are we that LSC is right in our own backyard! We enjoyed LSC’s all-live signature show, Wonders of the Night Sky, an exhilarating 45-minute experience that explores our stars and beyond. We traveled 1,400 light years into our galaxy through the great Orion Nebula, and visited Saturn, as the planet and its rings covered the canvas of the planetarium dome. Words don’t do the experience justice, so have a peak video of the planetarium exhibit and enter to win passes for your family below to experience LSC in person! There’s always something new to see at LSC. Each time we visit, my kids literally skip from exhibit to exhibit in LSC’s massive 300,000-square-foot facility on the bank of the Hudson River. Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, live simulcast surgeries, a tornado-force wind simulator, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than 650,000 students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center’s off-site and online programs.
We want to inspire your child’s learning with a visit to LSC!
