There’s nothing quite like witnessing a child’s enthusiasm for learning, especially in the thick of July when summer learning loss is at its peak.
Liberty Science Center corners the market on making learning fun for kids of every age, and adults too.
JerseyMomsMEDIA hosted another fun Blogger tour for writers and families to help launch Dino Days of Summer and experience the new Jack Horner’s Dino Dig exhibit. Kids enjoyed a hands-on archeological dig for dino bones on the outdoor grounds of LSC, with little flavor of New York City in the horizon.
Over 50 bones, including a 72-inch long Triceratops skull, protrude from the ground and await discovery and excavation by the next promising paleontologist.
There’s always something new to see at LSC. Each time we visit, my kids literally skip from exhibit to exhibit in LSC’s massive 300,000-square-foot facility on the bank of the Hudson River.
Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, a 3D theater, the world’s largest IMAX Dome Theater, live simulcast surgeries, a tornado-force wind simulator, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than 650,000 students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center’s off-site and online programs.
We want to inspire your child’s learning and summer fun with a visit to LSC!
